I'm 22 years old from United Kingdom. I write music on my computer using a Yamaha DX9, Soundblaster AWE32 with 8 meg sample memory, Cubase Software and virtual synths

TB-303 is the most sought after analog synthesizer. When it was released, it was suposed to be used as a normal bass line, but nobody wanted it because it's sound was far from the sound of real bass. So Roland decided to stop it's production in two years. When everybody thought that TB's time was over, it was discovered in late 80's by house musicans (Phuture, Adonis, Derrick May). Because of it's great acid bass sound it become what it is today.

Roland TB-303 is the one and only acid machine. If you wan't to make acid you have to have it because of it's uique sound and sequencer.
There are many clones of thise machine ou there but they all lack the unique sequencer of this machine with it's slide and accent.
